Research, look for, and provide the following about the “Healthcare Administrator”
Duties and Responsibilities:
The structure and financing of health care are changing rapidly. Future medical and health services managers must be prepared to deal with the integration of health care delivery systems, technological innovations, an increasingly complex regulatory environment, restructuring of work, and an increased focus on preventive care.

Salary:
 $85,860.
Education:
Healthcare administrators often work their way up through the ranks, perhaps starting as a department head or assistant administrator, the BLS reported. In order to manage a nursing care facility, healthcare administrators may be required to pass a state licensing exam.


Reflection: Do you think you would like to be a Healthcare Administrator? Why? Why not?
I think that I would like to be a healthcare administrator because it makes a lot of money and it doesn’t require too many high school courses like the rest.

Dental Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dental assistants help dentists provide dental care. They often work in teams with dental hygienists and laboratory technicians. They may work in health clinics, dental schools, nursing homes, and the military, but usually they work for dentists in private practice. Dental assistant duties include:
·        Helping patients feel comfortable during treatment.
·        Taking and developing dental x-rays.
·        Taking medical histories for patients.
·        Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments and equipment.
·         Instructing patients about dental health care to include brushing and flossing.
·        Preforming office management tasks.
Average Salary:$14,000-$25,000
Educational Requirements:
Dental assistant must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
They must receive additional training at a community college, vocational school, or dental school to learn their skills. Length of programs varies between six months and one year. To become certified, dental assistants must pass an examination from the Dental Assisting National Board.
