I think that this statement is trying to say that if you are obedient then that sums up to all the good things that are going to happen to you in life. but if you are not obedient then you will always be having bad things happening to you in life or something like that is going to happen. for good or for bad. either way.

Military Medical Careers
Duties and Responsibilities: As a physician in the Navy Medical Corps, you will attend to service members and their families in much the same way a civilian doctor would. But in the world of Navy Health Care, you will attain a broader spectrum of experience faster as you practice at the forefront of medicine. As a Navy Physician, you will help lead the highly respected Navy Health Care team. Education: After a physician completes 4 years of medical school, their training is not over. They must then complete an internship (also called PGY1 or Post Graduate Year 1) and then a residency (also termed GME or Graduate Medical Education). An internship typically lasts one year and a residency can last from three to seven years depending on the specialty that you choose. Military GME is not much different from civilian GME in that virtually all specialties and sub-specialties are represented. Joining the military will not limit the specialties from which a medical student may choose. Reflection: I think that this statement is trying to say that there is nothing wrong with being scared because your doing the right thing so you shouldn't be embarrassed of being scared.

Psychiatric aide – technician

Duties and responsibilities:

Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in the problems of mental illness.  As physicians, they are licensed to use a very wide variety of treatment and may write prescriptions.  Psychiatrists may work for the government, have their own private practice, or work in hospitals, clinics, or universities.  

Salary:

$90,000 - $200,000

Education:

In addition to completing the requirements for a degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine, psychiatrists must complete an intensive three year residency in psychiatry.

Orthotist

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Orthotist work with patients that need extra support for their muscles, spine, or limbs.  Both design, make, and fit apparatuses made of plastic, wood, leather, and metal that help stabilize, strengthen or replace body parts.  They also make and fit devices that help to align limbs that have grown in a crooked manner. 

Salary:

$25,000 - $40,000

Education:

Some colleges and universities offer bachelor degrees in orthotic and prosthetic programs.  These programs include courses in anatomy, physics, mathematics, mechanical drawing, and the use of materials used in the making of devices.  After a year of experience a person may apply for certification.

Optician

Duties and Responsibities:

Opticians fit and dispense eyeglasses for patients based upon prescriptions written by ophthalmologists or optometrists.  Opticians help the customers select eyeglass frames and then measure their faces so that correct size frames can be ordered.  They also measure the distance between the corneas of the eyes so that the lenses may be correctly fitted in the frames.  Some opticians specialize in the fitting of contact lens and also in fitting artificial eyes.  Opticians may own their own retail store or work for an optical store.  Some also work for optometrists and ophthalmologists who sell glasses.

Salary:

$19,000 - $40,000

Education:

Students should take high school courses in physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry.  A high school diploma or GED certificate is needed to begin training as an optician.  There are two types of training programs.  Students can either complete an approved two-year course at an school of opticianry, or they can complete an approved three year on-the-job apprenticeship.

Nursing Home Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Nursing Home Administrators plan and direct operations of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.  They supervise personnel, financial, medical, and nursing administration. 

Salary:

$40,000 - $55,000

Education:

Requirements differ, but most states require nursing home administrators to have at least a bachelor's degree in nursing home administration, complete an additional internship program, and pass a comprehensive examination.

 i think that i would not  like to be a nursing home administrator because its not something that i would want to work in...and they don't get paid a lot like other jobs of my interest.

Home Health Aide

Research, look for, and provide the following about the “Home Health Aide”

Duties and Responsibilities:

Change dressings.

 Perform a variety of duties as requested by client, such as obtaining household supplies and running errands.
Accompany clients to doctors' offices and on other trips outside the home, providing transportation, assistance and companionship.
Administer prescribed oral medications under written direction of physician or as directed by home care nurse and aide.
Care for children who are disabled or who have sick or disabled parents.
Massage patients and apply preparations and treatments, such as liniment, alcohol rubs, and heat-lamp stimulation.

Salary:

They get paid around  $20,170

Education:

The hours for a home health aide job can range drastically depending on individual circumstances. Most of the employees will be full time. These people can work with one or multiple patients each day. Most of them assist people who are terminally ill or require long-term care due to their age.
